Celebrate Heart Health Month by Working on Your Fitness in Union Park!

February 20th, 2016

heart health starts in the home

One of the best ways to combat heart disease is to start taking preventative action right away through healthy diet and exercise. One of Wesley Chapel’s newest communities, Union Park, offers residents an array of outlets to work fitness and exercise into their daily routine. Our community features miles of paved pathways, nature trails and safe streets that are accompanied with fitness stations for residents to utilize – making it that much easier for you to take control of your heart health!

Equipped with fantastic amenities, Union Park was built to offer homeowners the ultimate living experience for healthy and active lives. Features within Union Park that can help you get on the right track for your heart’s health include perfect pathways for walking, a Zen Garden for peaceful yoga sessions, an off-leash dog park for a romp with Fido, outdoor fitness stations for great calisthenic workouts and an ULTRAFi network that keeps you connected to your favorite fitness apps wherever you are within the neighborhood.

If you are new to fitness or would like to get more information on exercises that are best for optimal heart and cardiovascular health, check out Florida Hospital’s upcoming seminar, “Fitness to Improve Your Heart Health.” The seminar will be held at  the Health & Wellness Center Conference Room on the 2nd Floor, 2700 Healing Way at Florida Hospital in Wesley Chapel (only a few minutes from Union Park) on March 22nd from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The seminar will be led by Nicolas Santacruz, MS, EP-C and will help you figure out how to implement heart healthy fitness activities into your life right in your own backyard at Union Park!
